Thailand International Balloon Festival
March 2nd through 4th the Thailand International Balloon Festival will be hosted at the Cowboy Club Huay Tung Tao in Chiang Mai. Visitors can expect colorful hot air balloons from all over the world are taking off from the beautiful green grass field with a beautiful scenic mountain backdrop. The marvelous balloons, night glow, music, dance, art exhibitions, free workshops, and cultural performance entertain the visitors until late evening. Fine dining and drinks will be served by popular hotels and restaurants from around Chiang Mai. Don’t worry the kids have not been forgotten. There will be games, ponies, and sheep! They can take part in various festival activities, which will entertain the young ones. For those who are interested in aviation, there will be pilots holding workshops teaching the children to fly a balloon.
