Chiang Mai is a popular destination for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Although Christmas is not yet over, visitors planning on celebrating New Year’s Eve in Chiang Mai with a special dinner or party should start thinking about where to go. Several city restaurants and entertainment venues are laying on events at which guests will be able to ring in 2019 in style, but some, including the River Market Restaurant, say they are already fully booked.
